Working with first-time homebuyers is always a rewarding experience—their enthusiasm is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be part of such an important milestone in their lives.

In this particular case, we had the pleasure of assisting Christine and Ron, a couple eager to find their very first home.  They reached out to us with the hope that we could help guide them through the process of purchasing a home in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby or Oshawa.  They initially spoke with our Inside Sales Agent/Customer Service Manager and she went over the more than 100 possible features that we can search for with our custom Homehunter program.

Then we assigned Jeanette, one of the dedicated agents on The Brian Kondo Real Estate Team, to work with them.  Over the course of nearly three months, they toured numerous properties, mostly in Ajax - more than 40 in total - before finally discovering the one that felt just right.

Buying a first home can be overwhelming, which is why I emphasize the importance of education and patience within my team.  I always encourage our agents to take the time to inform clients and support them as they navigate big decisions, especially when preferences are still taking shape.

Thanks to that approach, Jeanette was able to guide Christine and Ron every step of the way.  Their gratitude was heartwarming, and they happily settled into a home they truly loved.  It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
